About FLO

FLO is a one-of-a-kind outdoor spa and wild swimming venue, set within the beautiful grounds of Blackpit Farm. We're surrounded by lakes, ancient woodland and open parkland -- and we share the site with an established cafe, brewery, events space, and some brilliant festivals and large racing weekends.

Inspired by Scandinavian traditions, we offer cold water swimming, a panoramic sauna, wood-fired hot tubs, and a range of feel-good spa experiences.

We're now looking for

a friendly, proactive Spa Host to joi

n the team. If you love people, don't mind getting stuck in, and enjoy working outdoors, you'll fit right in.

The role

You'll be the first point of contact for our guests -- welcoming people in, helping them feel relaxed and confident, and keeping the spa running smoothly behind the scenes. It's a hands-on, guest-facing role with a lovely mix of hospitality and practical outdoor spa duties.

What you'll be doing

Guest experience

Welcoming guests, checking them in, and helping set the tone for a great visit Answering questions and supporting bookings/schedules so everything runs smoothly Making and serving hot/cold drinks and light refreshments Sharing simple, helpful guidance on using the facilities (sauna, cold water swimming, etc.) Handling feedback with warmth and professionalism, and sorting any issues quickly
Spa & operational duties

Keeping the spa spaces clean, calm and guest-ready (sauna, tubs, showers, changing areas, toilets) Laundry: towels and robes washed, dried, folded, and ready to go Lighting and maintaining the wood-fired sauna and hot tubs (training provided) Checking and recording water quality (training provided) Using the till and online booking systems Supporting open water safety / lifeguarding (training provided)
Events support

Helping set up and run FLO during on-site event weekends (e.g.,

F1 weekend

and

Stowaway Festival

) when we operate an outdoor spa for event guests
Who we're looking for

Warm, friendly and confident with guests Proactive and practical -- you spot what needs doing and get on with it Great attention to detail (the little things matter here) Happy working outdoors in all seasons A solid team player with good communication Flexible to work weekends, and occasionally extra hours during events
Nice to have (but not essential)

Experience in hospitality, spa, leisure or wellbeing A love of wild swimming / sauna culture / wellness Experience with wood-fired stoves, hot tubs, or basic fire safety
Typical shifts

Regular weekend shifts:

Between

7:30am-6:30pm

or 7.30am - 8.00pm (season-dependent)
