Are you an experienced

Wind Turbine QA/Assembly Inspector

looking for a major onshore pre-assembly project in the UK?

OIM Services is expanding its renewables team and seeking skilled inspectors to support a large-scale wind turbine component pre-assembly and quality assurance programme beginning soon.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing technical team working on one of the UK's flagship renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform QA inspections on major wind turbine components during pre-assembly.

Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies for compliance with OEM specifications.

Verify torqueing, tensioning, bolting, alignment, and fitting procedures.

Complete quality documentation, NCRs, punch lists, and daily reports.

Support tool/equipment checks and maintain high safety standards.

Liaise with assembly supervisors and QA coordinators to ensure workflow alignment.

Candidate Requirements

Strong experience in wind turbine assembly, nacelle work, mechanical inspection, or heavy industrial QA.

Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

-Nacelles

-Hub/Drive Train

-Generators

-Hydraulic systems

-Electrical harnessing

Valid Right to Work in the UK.

GWO BST (preferable).

Strong understanding of OEM processes and quality documentation.

Excellent communication & reporting skills.
