We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wind Turbine Technicians to join our agency. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting renewable energy initiatives and contributing to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of wind turbines to identify any mechanical or electrical issues. Perform maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as necessary. Install new wind turbine systems and assist in the commissioning process. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and installations. Dig trenches for cable laying and other necessary groundwork. Weld components when required to ensure structural integrity. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Skills

Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to mechanical work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Basic electrical skills to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues within turbines. Experience in welding techniques is advantageous. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical tasks as part of installation processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
