Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, and maintenance of windows and doors in various settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.

Duties

Install and replace windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installations. Ensure that all installations are plumb, level, and secure. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Conduct repairs on existing windows, including sealing and weatherproofing. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site.

Experience

Proven experience as a Window and Door Fitter or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with masonry work. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools relevant to window fitting tasks. A background in carpentry or related fields will be considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: 160.00-190.00 per day
