Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate fitting of windows and doors. Install windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and building codes. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete installations efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing installations as required. Interpret schematics and building plans to understand installation requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns during the installation.

Requirements

Proven minimum of 5 years experience in window/door installation or related construction fields. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Own tools are essential. Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, construction painting, and reading schematics is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work at heights safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Reliability surrounding communication and attending jobs in line with agreements made. A valid driver's licence is essential for travel between job sites.
