Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing knowledge of UPVC windows and doors and a hands-on approach to managing the production process. This role is crucial in ensuring that our factory runs efficiently, meets production targets, and maintains high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise daily factory operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Manage and train staff, fostering a productive and safe working environment. Oversee the workers and check quality of items making sure deadlines are met and processes run smoothly. Implement efficient assembly techniques to optimise productivity while minimising waste. Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries of what is required. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, addressing any mechanical issues promptly to prevent downtime. Enforce health and safety regulations within the factory, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and resolve any operational challenges.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within a UPVC manufacturing environment. Strong manufacturing of UPVC knowledge Able to communicate well with employees Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and motivation. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in assembly processes is highly desirable.
