Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Window and Door Fitter

to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional installation, repair, and replacement of windows and doors in residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fitting procedures, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure openings and plan fitting jobs with accuracy Remove old windows and doors without causing unnecessary damage Install new windows, doors, frames, locks, handles, and weatherproofing materials Ensure installations are level, secure, sealed, and meet building regulations Work with a variety of materials including uPVC, aluminium, timber, and composite Carry out minor repairs and adjustments on-site as required Clean and finish installed products to the highest standard Regularly maintain tools, equipment, and a must keep a clean and tidy van and working area Communicate effectively with customers and team members Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

Essential:

Proven experience as a window and door fitter or joiner with evidence based experience in fitting various types of windows and doors to the correct and highest standard Ability to read technical drawings and measurements Excellent practical and problem-solving skills Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy units Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Full UK Drivers Licence (Preferably clean)

Desirable:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fenestration Installation or similar qualification (not essential) CSCS card (not essential) Experience with both residential and commercial installations Minimum 3 Years experience
