We are seeking an experienced and reliable Window and Door Repair Engineer to carry out both surveying and repair work across residential properties for Housing Associations . This is a daytime role with a focus on accurate surveys for replacements and first-time fixes for faulty windows and doors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Monday - Friday, 07:00- 16:30

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site surveys for replacement windows, doors, blown double-glazed units, and associated hardware.
Assess and measure for required parts, glass units, and full replacements - producing accurate notes or reports.
Perform first-time repairs to window and door systems where possible, including locks, hinges, handles, friction stays, letterboxes, and mechanisms.
Identify faults and causes of failure in uPVC, aluminium, and timber windows and doors.
Maintain excellent customer service, keeping tenants or clients informed throughout visits.
Ensure all works comply with health & safety standards and company procedures.
Complete job sheets and documentation accurately, using Connect Teams or paper records.
Qualifications
Experience in construction or related fields is essential (Preferred)
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is required.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
A valid driving license is required for travel between job sites.
