Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience with various installation techniques. This role involves working with a range of materials and tools to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

Install windows in residential and commercial properties, ensuring proper alignment and sealing. Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to complete installations accurately. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for window installation tasks. Perform necessary carpentry work, including framing adjustments and finishing touches. Conduct inspections of installed windows to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including roofing, plumbing, electrical, and masonry specialists, as required for comprehensive project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the installation process.

Requirements

Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to window installation. Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, construction painting, and masonry is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
