We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience with various fitting techniques. As a Window Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows in residential and commercial properties. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install windows in accordance with manufacturer specifications and building regulations. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fitting of windows. Repair and replace damaged or faulty windows as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute installations correctly. Perform construction painting and plastering tasks as required during window fitting projects. Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to window fitting. Experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, and fabrication is advantageous. Strong understanding of construction principles and practices. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. A proactive approach to health and safety on-site. Pay: 488.40-850.00 per week
