Clearglaze are a manufacturer of windows and doors, situated on temple road in the evington area of Leicester. As we expand our business, we're looking for a dedicated window fitter to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of UPVC and Aluminium windows in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The successful applicant will have experience with a range of building materials and techniques, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace windows in various settings, ensuring proper fitting and sealing. Measure and cut materials accurately to fit window frames. Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Conduct thorough inspections of installed windows to ensure functionality and aesthetics. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.

Experience

Proven experience as a Window Fitter or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment relevant to window fitting tasks. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
