Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Fitter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in various building types, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
Measure and prepare window openings to ensure precise fitting according to schematics and technical drawings Install new windows using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Remove old or damaged windows carefully to minimise damage to surrounding structures Seal and insulate windows to improve energy efficiency and weather resistance Conduct repairs or replacements of existing window units as required Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, masonry, plastering, or construction painting teams for seamless project execution Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation and repair processes
MUST:
Have van and own tools!
