Job Summary

We are seeking a semi skilled Window Fitters mate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assistance in the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows in various residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. Lifting and carrying heavy materials. The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Install and replace windows in accordance with specifications and building regulations. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit. Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters to ensure seamless project completion. Perform repairs on existing window installations as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed windows to ensure functionality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in window fitting or a related construction field. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to window installation. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
