Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Windows and doors Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction-related tasks and will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install and replace windows, Doors, Bifold ensuring proper fitting and sealing to prevent leaks. Conduct repairs on existing windows, including frame adjustments and glass replacement. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment effectively for window fitting tasks. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding project progress.

Skills

Proficiency in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical experience, carpentry, plastering, masonry, and fabrication is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. Experience with construction painting is an advantage. Competency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
