We're looking for Plant Operatives / Drivers to assist with snow clearance operations across airside areas during the winter season. This is an ad-hoc, flexible role ideal for those in construction, agriculture, shift-based work, or anyone who is semi-retired or with availability for short-notice shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Winter Resilience Operative, you will be required to:

Attend an 8hr on-site training session (Paid) Be available to attend ad-hoc shifts based on adverse weather Safely and efficiently work within a team to remove snow using Kubota tractors Have the ability to work assigned shifts, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

Shift Information

This is emergency response work - hours will vary. Shifts can be days, nights, weekends, or holidays based on weather. Flexibility and availability at short notice are essential.

What You'll Need

A full, manual UK driving licence (essential). Proven, recent experience operating plant such as: Tractor, Multihog, Telehandler, Dumper, Excavator etc A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. A zero-tolerance approach to health & safety practices. No unspent criminal convictions - a DBS check will be required if successful.

To Qualify for Airside Clearance, You Must Provide:

5-year verifiable work/self-employment or education history. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Proof of National Insurance number. Proof of address dated within the last 3 months.

Ideal for Candidates With Experience In:

Groundworks, Agriculture, Farming, landscaping, plant operation, construction, farming, or similar trades. Flexible/zero-hour contracts, or part-time shift work. Semi-retired individuals seeking occasional work.
