Join our dedicated East Social Care Team in Wokingham as a Senior Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker to lead and mentor a team while delivering high-quality social care services. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, conducting assessments, and ensuring that the needs of service users are effectively met.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing guidance and support to junior social workers and support staff.

- Managing a caseload of complex cases and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Engaging with service users and their families to promote empowerment and resilience.
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualification experience in social work, particularly in children's or adult services.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills with a clear understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork.
