Normal working hours will be 09.00 to 17.00, 3 days a week (variable), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked; making a total of 21 working hours per week.
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
MCC is the world's most active members' cricket club, with a growing desire to diversify and expand its playing membership. The Women's Cricket Administrator's primary role will be to administer the growing activities of MCC Women's cricket schedule, with responsibility for fixture and player administration. They will also be key to the implementation of the Club's Cricket Strategy, supporting with the promotion and recruitment of female candidates. Working closely with the Women's Cricket Manager, the role will contribute to development initiatives, support match-day recruitment, and provide tailored care for individual applicants. As custodians of Lord's, partners to the MCC Foundation and host to London Spirit, MCC holds a proud place at the forefront of inspiring generations to love cricket.
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Administration of all aspects of the MCC women's playing programme
Ensure accurate scorecard submission and maintain up-to-date database records
Act as administrative support, including minute-taking, for MCC Women's Players & Fixtures sub-committee
Collaborate with the Club Services Department on membership enquiries and applications from women
Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to queries in a timely manner
Assist in developing and delivering high-quality internal and external communications about the MCC Women's Playing Programme, including through social media
Promote the benefits of MCC Membership for women and provide personalised support to applicants throughout the application process
Represent and promote MCC Women's Playing Membership at major match days
Undertake research to support developmental initiatives
Other administrative duties and reporting, as required

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS & SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS:
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good quality numeracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), databases, and familiarity with digital/social media platforms.
High attention to detail, particularly for record-keeping, compliance, and scheduling.
Manage time carefully, whilst working independently.

Ability to work collaboratively with staff, players, coaches, committees, and external partners.
Actively promote teamwork by supporting others and sharing knowledge.

EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in sports administration or club management (paid or voluntary).
Previous experience in a customer service environment
Knowledge of cricket (or other sports) structures, competitions, and governing body regulations (preferred, not essential)
Have an existing cricket network within women's cricket (preferred, not essential).
