Cambridge Cobras Women are seeking a passionate and dedicated Goalkeeper coach for our talented new team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in coaching, with the ability to inspire and develop players. We have a very talented young goalkeeper who we want to develop and are seeking someone to support us with this. On top of this, there would the be a chance to support the coaching of the whole team if this is something you would be interested in.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of our goalkeeper
Conduct a training session once a week and attend matches on a Sunday.
Monitor our goalkeeper's progress, providing constructive criticism and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.
Foster a supportive team atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players and coaches.
Communicate effectively with all players, coaches and stakeholders regarding training schedules, performance updates, and any concerns.
Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques to enhance training methods.
Skills
Proven experience of goalkeeper coaching
Excellent teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Strong leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate players to perform at their best.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with players and coaches
Ability to assess individual strengths and weaknesses to tailor coaching strategies accordingly.
