Plymouth Argyle Women Football Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced medical and performance lead to join the team. The successful applicant will be providing support to PAWFC within the areas of medical support, rehabilitation, and physical conditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend all PAWFC First Team training sessions and match days, providing medical preparation, provision of on-field first aid and treatment, and the medical recovery of the players.
Attend all PAWFC First Team training sessions and match days, providing strength and conditioning coaching to the players.
Design and deliver individual and team-based strength and conditioning programs tailored to PAWFC First Team football-specific needs.
Develop PAWFC injury prevention protocols and return-to-play programs.
Lead PAWFC warm-up, gym, and conditioning sessions as required for training and matchdays.
Provide personalised rehabilitation plans to PAWFC players.
Conduct injury assessment and diagnosis, in collaboration with Club Doctor where required.
Implement a medical note recording and tracking process for PAWFC.
Manage the inventory and identify when ordering is required for PAWFC medical emergency equipment.
Ensure PAWFC medical emergency equipment is checked on a weekly basis and placed in the designated position pitch side when required.
Be committed to Safeguarding Children and promoting the welfare of all players at PAWFC.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, offering performance insights and updates.
Manage the safer recruitment and development of sports therapist students and physical performance students to achieve role objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the FA, EFL and Premier League for Youth Development.

Qualifications
Minimum of BSc in Sports Therapy or BSc in Physiotherapy - (E)
Qualified or working towards Emergency Medical First Aid in Football (EMFAiF) - (E)
Hold Level 3 in Personal Training or having completed the UKSCA S&C Trainer Course
Valid FA CRB Enhanced Check (Immediately)
FA Safeguarding Workshop - (E)

Pay: 15,000.00 per year
