An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experianced Wood Machine Operative to join our growing Production Team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:

Operation of our edge banders, CNCs (must have expirience). Candidate also must be open to learning other machines such as Re Saws, 6 cutters, Moulders, Thicknessers, Spindle Moulders. Operate high standards of Health & safety within the site. Following technical drawings and cutting lists to produce joinery item components. Following all company risk assessments and SSOW placed on factory machinery accordingly Selecting the correct type of timber for a job and calculating the quantity needed. Using computer-aided design, manufacturing (CAD/CAM) programmes or computer numerically control (CNC) software. Preparing, maintaining and operating woodworking machinery as required. Ensuring nonconformities are raised with the supervisor where required. Ensuring the correct PPE is used at all times as and where required. Ensure all machinery guards are set correctly and safely prior to usage.
The following qualities are required:

Must have experience using Edge Bander and other woodworking machines The knowledge and ability to use computer programmes. The ability to prioritise in line with production requirements. Be self-motivated.
Skills / Qualities:

Forklift licence - advantageous
