Role Overview
We are seeking a WordPress Developer to design, build, and maintain accessible, high-performance websites. You will collaborate with our UI/UX designer and backend engineers to deliver user-focused solutions that meet the needs of public sector organisations.
Responsibilities
Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.
Implement accessible and responsive frontends aligned with government standards.
Integrate WordPress with external APIs and data services.
Work with designers and engineers to deliver complete, reliable solutions.
Participate in client discussions to define requirements and solve technical challenges.
Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development).
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Understanding of accessibility and performance optimisation.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Familiarity with Django or React (desirable but not required).
Experience delivering websites for public sector or data-driven projects (desirable).
