An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Work Experience and Industry Placement Leader

to join our Health, Education and Foundation Learning team reporting to our Curriculum Manager in Early Years and Education. This post is to provide cover for an existing team member during Adoption Leave. The successful applicant will be joined an outstanding team and will need to be engaging, flexible, able to adapt to working with a range of different learners and ranges of abilities. To be able to work independently to drive forward initiatives but also be able to work in collaboration with the wider team is essential.





As a

Work Experience and Industry Placement Leader

with Stockton Riverside College you will be responsible for sourcing, organising and liaising with placements, learners and parents to ensure all earner engage in work related activity and work experience as appropriate to their level of learning and course requirements. To be able to support learners and staff with placement tutorials and monitor the quality and impact of placement opportunities. To work in close liaison with tutors and Progress Coaches to Monitor attendance and to build and maintain partnership working with employers in the region.





The ideal candidate will be organised, have excellent IT and problem-solving skills, the ability to work to high levels or accuracy and attention to detail, be willing to learn and develop. Previous experience of working in FE and using Grofar would be an advantage.





The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an education and training award, or willingness to work towards an education and training aware and / or assessor qualification if required and preferably a qualification in business administration. The role is varied and has both learner and non-learner facing aspects of the role.
