Salary: 24,499 with potential for incremental progression to 26,445

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a

Work Placement Officer

to join our well-established and supportive

Work Placement Team

. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting learners, building strong employer relationships, and helping people take their next step into the world of work.

As a Work Placement Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing work placement activities. This will include

establishing, monitoring, and evaluating high-quality work experience opportunities

to ensure learners gain meaningful and positive outcomes. You will work closely with employers, training staff, and learners to ensure placements meet both educational and business needs.

You will also support learner recruitment by

actively promoting our training programmes to local employers

, building new partnerships, and maintaining existing relationships. A key part of the role will be

sourcing and securing suitable work placements

, matching learners to opportunities that align with their skills, aspirations, and career goals.

What you'll bring

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C (or equivalent) A full, valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle, as the role involves travel to employer sites

What we would love you to have

Possess a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Careers Advice and Guidance or Careers Information. Have experience of working in an careers education environment or sales/ employer engagement
