Workday Integration Lead

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Workday Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of integrations between Workday and external systems in a global implementation. This role ensures alignment with business requirements, data governance, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the integration workstream across all phases of the Workday implementation.
Define integration strategy, architecture, and governance.
Manage a team of integration consultants and developers.
Collaborate with functional leads, security teams, and third-party vendors.
Oversee the development of EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and custom integrations.
Ensure compliance with global data privacy and security regulations.
Drive integration testing and support defect resolution.
Provide regular status updates and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in HRIS/ERP integrations, with 4+ years in Workday.
Proven experience leading global Workday integration projects.
Expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of data security, GDPR, and global compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications Required/Preferred:
Workday Integration Core Certification (Required)
Workday Studio Certification (Preferred)
Workday Pro Certification Integrations (Preferred)
Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) (Preferred)
