We're looking for a dynamic

Workforce Development Lead

to join our team. This is a pivotal role where you'll design, commission, and deliver innovative learning and development initiatives that empower our workforce and improve outcomes for residents.

What You'll Be Doing



Support the delivery of the

Health and Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy

Commission and design learning

interventions that reflect statutory requirements, best practice, and local priorities

Contribute to transformation

projects including Digital Health & Care Technology, and Safeguarding Adults Board priorities Promote inclusive career pathways and learning through the Social Care Practice Academy

Collaborate

across services--HR, Public Health, Mental Health, Commissioning, and more--to ensure a joined-up approach to workforce development Use staff and resident feedback, internal reviews, and statutory reviews to shape training needs and

drive continuous improvement


About You




You'll bring:

Proven experience in adult social care and workforce development Strong stakeholder engagement skills A commitment to anti-racist practice The ability to embrace change and opportunities to develop staff Experience managing staff and budgets, with a focus on value for money
