18.5 hours - Secondment/Fixed Term Contract until March 2026
In this role, you will support the business and all elements of Workforce resourcing; contribute to the provision of a comprehensive resourcing advisory service that are aligned to the Force strategic objectives. You will monitor staffing levels against establishment to advise, commission and review job vacancies. Ensure HR IT systems accurately reflects the agreed establishment in respect of both officers and staff. You will be the key contact into Senior Management teams and Resource Management Unit to review and resolve resourcing issues.
You will have the ability to analyse and produce statistical information. You will have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and use of HR IT systems (preferably PeopleSoft). You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, provide a high level of service to customers, maintaining open and transparent communication. Strong problem-solving skills and evidence-based decision-making will be essential, along with an understanding of Force priorities and business demands. You'll join a large team where members work independently while actively supporting one another and sharing knowledge.
This role is considered as a hybrid role and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office environment at least one day a week. This may be increased during the training period.
This role would ideally suit someone currently working part time, looking to increase their hours, additional position or looking for a new challenge.
