Job Summary

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a well-established Bradford based contractor who work on a variety of projects mainly focusing on showroom fit-outs.

Due to the amount of work and projects being won we are looking for a Working Foreman / Site Manager. The successful candidate will come from a Joinery background and have experience working on a variety of different projects.

Duties

?Leading and supervising a team of tradespeople. Participating in joinery tasks alongside the team Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Competently read and understand drawings and designs. Coordinate and communicate effectively with project manager, clients and colleagues. Collaborate with team members to overcome any issues that arise on site. Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. Manage on site deliveries. Work away from home when required

Requirements

Full understanding of the construction process from start to finish, the ability to read and interpret drawings, building regulations and health and safety procedures Previous experience as a joiner and qualified to NVQ Level 3 SMSTS certificate Valid CSCS card Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadline driving licence
