We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forman to oversee our team and ensure the smooth operation of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction processes. As a Forman, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
Supervise and manage a team of workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Coordinate daily operations, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project specifications.
Provide training and support to team members as needed to enhance their skills and performance.
Maintain clear communication with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
Manage materials and equipment on-site, ensuring they are used effectively and safely.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry or related field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
