The Role

We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead and deliver our projects. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will be responsible for site control, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality. You will also be client-facing, ensuring sites are always presentable and ready for visits.

Key Responsibilities

-Full control of site operations on a day-to-day basis

-Ensuring strict health & safety compliance across all activities

-Acting as the on-site emergency first aider

-Organising and coordinating labour, subcontractors, and suppliers

-Managing and ordering materials to keep projects on schedule

-Overseeing site budgets and controlling labour productivity

-Ensuring sites remain clean, safe, and client-ready at all times

-Delivering high-quality workmanship while working alongside the team

-Reporting site progress and issues directly to company directors

Requirements

-Proven experience as a working foreman or site supervisor

-Strong background in general building (carpentry advantageous)

-SSSTS/SMSTS certification preferred

-First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)

-Excellent leadership and communication skills

-Ability to manage workloads, budgets, and site programmes

-Full UK driving licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 250.00-325.00 per day
