The Working Site Foreman is responsible for overseeing and participating in the company's on site installations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role combines hands-on installation with leadership, site management, and coordination duties, acting as the key link between installation teams, the office, and clients.
The Working Site Foreman ensures that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, the team operates productively, and the client is kept informed and satisfied throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installations.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and the office team.
Oversee and coordinate the work of installers and freelance contractors, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Enforce Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS compliance, PPE use, and toolbox talks.
Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively, escalating where necessary.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Carry out hands-on installation of planters, street furniture, and green infrastructure.
Quality control - check and sign off work quality, ensuring alignment, finish, and client satisfaction.
Organise site logistics - management of materials, deliveries, access, waste, and vehicle loading/unloading.
Maintain site records, daily reports, and photo documentation.
Conduct site inductions and support training of less experienced team members.
Represent the company professionally on-site and maintain positive client relationships.

Working Arrangements
Your main place of work will be on site across Greater London and further afield as required by the business. Some work taking place at our workshop in Kemsing, Sevenoaks, TN15 6PF.
Line Management
This role does not include direct line management responsibilities initially, but is expected to develop into a supervisory position as the company and project workload grow.

Key Skills or Experience
Essential:
Proven experience leading teams in installation, landscaping, or construction.
Strong understanding of site Health & Safety and RAMS procedures.
Skilled in reading drawings and delivering high-quality installations.
Confident communicator with leadership and problem-solving ability.
CSCS card or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
Experience installing street furniture, planters, or green infrastructure
SMSTS or SSSTS
Experience liaising with clients and coordinating site activities.
Understanding of CDM Regulations
