Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Supervisor to oversee daily operations on-site. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supervising teams, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Ideally you will be comfortable working on both domestic and commercial sites.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. You must have the ability and willingness to be hands on when required Manage daily operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain clear communication with lime managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise. Assist in the training and development of new staff, fostering a positive team environment. Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets required standards before completion.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a groundwork/civils industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and management. Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team while maintaining high morale. Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the workplace. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they arise.

Pay: 180.00-280.00 per day
