Ebro Solutions Limited are an established contractor working in Cornwall, predominantly in the water sector. We specialise in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering and groundworks. We operate from an office in St. Columb and we are seeking to build on our team by recruiting a Working site supervisor/manager to manage and deliver schemes around Cornwall and Devon to the high standards that Ebro prides itself on setting. This opportunity will see the successful applicant gaining an early foothold in a strong and growing company.

Job Summary

You will be working with the directors, project management and delivery teams at both our office in Trekenning (St Columb Major) and our various work sites planning, coordinating, programming and helping to deliver various civils, mechanical and electrical projects. You will be responsible for management, supervision and delivery of schemes allocated to you and you will offer your skills and experience generally to the business on a wider level also. You will coordinate staff and subcontractors and will liaise directly with suppliers and our clients to ensure efficient and effective 'first-time' delivery of projects of values between 1,000 and 500,000, from start to finish. Additionally, Ebro have policies, procedures and processes that you will follow and you will bring your experience to help us develop these as we continue our growth. At all times you will have the support of our highly experienced, helpful and friendly team.

Roles & responsibilities

Carry out detailed surveys as requested to assist with the estimating process, following initial contact from our clients to look at prospective work

Join calls/meetings/group chats to help determine requirements for labour, plant

and

materials at both tendering and delivery phases

Deliver toolbox talks, RAMS briefings and inductions prior to and during project delivery, to your colleagues as required

Organise and coordinate client requirements on their sites where our operations may impact them

Liaise with and control site operations, as required, including other contractors, our subcontractors and our client, to ensure safe and smooth delivery of our works

Lead our teams in terms of Health & Safety, quality of workmanship and general conduct

Liaise with the senior management team and other office staff to optimise efficiency and productivity, and to provide feedback between the office and delivery teams


Skills & experience

10 years construction industry experience

5 years construction industry supervisor/manager experience

SSSTS/SMSTS preferred

CPCS excavator operator/dumper/roller/telehandler/MEWP (desirable)

Strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation

Strong skillset within most of the following areas; concrete works, groundworks, above and below ground pipework, retaining works, below ground services

Transferable mechanical or engineering skills/experience from other industries (desirable)

Ability to lead and coordinate an efficient workforce

Work within a wider team, including estimators, procurement, engineers and project managers

Excellent communicator, able to liaise directly with clients

Hard-working, reliable, honest, and with a good temperament.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
