Role Overview
Responsible for creating, issuing, and managing works orders to keep production flowing.
Key Responsibilities
Create, issue, and update works orders.
Check material availability and raise shortages.
Liaise with planning, purchasing, and production.
Track job progress and update ERP/MRP systems.
Ensure drawings and specifications are correct.
Manage customer order details and revisions.
Communicate deadlines and chase missing info.
Maintain accurate filing and records.
Flag bottlenecks and issues early.
Support admin and planning when needed.
Dispatch job & Works Orders to warehouse
Skills & Experience
Manufacturing or production admin background.
Strong organisational skills.
ERP/MRP experience preferred 123insight would be beneficial.
Able to read basic engineering drawings.
Good communication and multitasking ability.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable and practical.
Calm under pressure.
Team player with ownership.
Proactive and solution-focused.
