About the Role:



We are recruiting for a number of Regional Planners/Schedulers to plan and manage essential jobs for our Tankering Operations Division for Southern Water which operates 24/7. You will work at the clients head office in a team to effectively manage and prioritise the work of the Tankering services throughout the Region of Hampshire and Sussex.

Working pattern: 4 days on 4 days off



Working hours: 6pm - 6am



Salary: 33000



Location: Durrington



Responsibilities - but not limited to:



As a Planner you will :

Planning, scheduling, and execution of works from initiation to completion. Support the management of resources, ensuring proper allocation and tracking. Maintain accurate documentation, and progress reports. Ensuring that permits for roadworks are properly applied for and granted, including scheduling, approvals, and compliance with local authority regulations. Collaborate with colleagues across the wider teams and other service stakeholders (e.g., Field teams, Operations, managers and client). Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule. Help track project budgets and ensure that costs are controlled and aligned with financial goals. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations. Aim for and work with your team to reach 100% quality compliance on auditing of all call back tasks and associated requests. Using the systems and ensuring compliance for scheduling of work and corresponding with stakeholders. Work within the team to ensure that you are adhering to procedures and identifying improvement/inefficiencies.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:



You possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You must have great interpersonal skills to liaise with engineers and wider lanes group network as well as the client. You have a keen eye for detail and can manage multiple tasks with ease. Comfortable with Microsoft 365. Team Player.
