About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised
Works Team Administrator
to support the Cathedral Estate team within the Diocese of Westminster. This key administrative role will provide vital support to the Cathedral Works Manager, helping to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of maintenance and repair works across our historic estate.
You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for preserving and enhancing the sacred and historic buildings that serve our diocesan mission.
Key Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Cathedral Estate Works Manager.
Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and coordination of repair and maintenance projects.
Liaising with external contractors and consultants.
Managing departmental digital and physical records, and supporting audit preparation.
Processing expense reports, ordering supplies, and maintaining filing systems.
Organising internal meetings and supporting wider team events where required.

Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail.
Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person.
Works well independently and collaboratively within a small team.
Is discreet and handles confidential matters sensitively.
Is able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with a calm and methodical approach.
Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
Experience in a similar administrative or facilities management support role is desirable. While it is not essential to be a practicing Catholic, all staff are expected to uphold the values and ethos of the Diocese in their work.
