Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with clients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building lasting relationships with customers. You will also conduct workshops in handbag making and experience of speaking to groups of people would be useful.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored solutions. Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing expert advice and recommendations. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends to provide exceptional service.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions accurately. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
