Job Description
Concept Flooring Technology are a small family run business based in Princes Risborough. We run a fleet of over 600 specialist flooring machines for diamond grinding and polishing concrete. In addition, we cover machinery for removal, levelling, sanding and full dust extraction. We service sites throughout the whole of the UK, although predominantly London and the South East.
We are looking for a new member of staff to join our team as a Workshop Assistant & Driver. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil general yardman duties, whilst assisting the workshop and driving teams, reporting directly to the Workshop Manager.
We are a small and busy company, and the role requires the successful candidate to have a varied skill set and have the ability to think for themselves. We pride ourselves on our level of customer service and company professionalism, therefore expecting every member of staff to work in the same way.
Duties will include:
Loading & Unloading of vans Taking delivery of parts & consumable orders and unpacking accordingly Cleaning Plant Machinery Checking cables for signs of damage Moving machinery to and from mezzanine Carrying out deliveries and collections to sites across Mainland UK Ensuring the workshop is kept clean & tidy Assisting workshop team with daily tasks
Experience required:-
Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work to own initiative An interest in machinery & electrics Good level of spoken & written English
Advantageous skill:-
Forklift Licence B+E Licence PAT Testing experience
