Can you manage the daily operations of a busy, high performing service workshop with a brand known for excellence?
At Marshall Volvo Derby, we're seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to motivate and manage a team of technicians while ensuring great service delivery and efficiency in the operations.
In this role:
You'll lead, manage and motivate a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands.
You'll allocate job cards and manage technicians' workloads to maximise productivity.
You'll have quality checks to ensure all work meets brand standards and drive service success through effective time management.
You'll oversee technical workshop solutions including EVHC and service booking systems.
You'll provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone, supporting the Service Advisor team as required.
We're looking for:
Someone with previous experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally from a franchised dealership environment.
Someone with the skill to motivate a team and maintain a professional, calm approach.
Someone with proficient IT skills, preferably with EVHC software experience.
Someone with a problem-solving mindset, who can anticipate and resolve potential operational barriers effectively.
