MJS Garage Services Ltd. is seeking a driven, organised, and hands-on

Workshop Controller

to oversee our team of 8 mechanics and keep our high-volume workshop running at peak performance. With

over 300 vehicles repaired every month

, this is a demanding but highly rewarding role for someone who thrives on responsibility, pace, and delivering exceptional standards.

What You'll Do

Manage, motivate, and support a team of 8 mechanics Allocate and prioritise work to ensure an efficient daily workflow Maintain exceptionally high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion across a busy schedule Liaise with the front-of-house team to maintain clear, accurate customer communication Troubleshoot workshop challenges and keep operations moving smoothly Ensure all work meets company and industry standards

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a workshop controller, foreman, or senior technician preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance Excellent organisational abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment Ability to balance speed, quality, and customer satisfaction Solid understanding of automotive repair processes Proactive communicator and problem solver Someone who isn't afraid to get hands-on when needed
