Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee and manage Workshop operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic financial planning and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, supporting the organisation's growth and stability.

Main duties:

At all times act in a professional manner.

Take responsibility and manage health and safety in the workshop. Manage quality (technical) manage invoicing and payroll Ensure parts availability Manage productivity (ensure that all jobs are on schedule). Provide leadership in the workshop. Keep all stakeholders updated on progress to include completion of jobs. From time to time carry out other duties as required (as capable/qualified to complete)

Experience

Proven experience in a similar financial management or control role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment Familiarity with schematics, mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, equipment repair, welding, and maintenance is advantageous for understanding operational aspects of the organisation Experience in assembly processes and customer service is beneficial for cross-departmental collaboration Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary during operational tasks or equipment handling Demonstrated capability in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills Prefer some vehicle technical knowledge
This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the organisation's financial integrity while supporting operational efficiency.

Pay: 24,420.00-52,304.11 per year
