Job Description

Auto services Perth are a family run business and have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate would ideally be working as a Workshop Controller or currently a Master Technician and looking to step up!

We currently represent 8 franchises , so this is an exceptionally busy role where you need to take complete control and gain respect from the technicians with your control and organisational skills. Must be experienced ideally with 5 plus years within the motor industry.

Must understand targets , with a can do attitude, ideally Main Dealer experienced.

Willing to learn and diversify as no 2 days are the same , hands on approach.

We would consider applications from Technicians who could demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills who are ready to take their first steps into management.

As the Workshop Controller you will work closely with the Service Manager in managing the service department to meet and exceed customers expectations every time. Also achieving and surpassing our business goals.

YOUR ROLE



Allocate work fairly , according to skills , ability and considering deadlines Update our DMS system and service advisors to keep all informed on progress Ensure all paperwork and job cards are completed and full write ups explaining works are clear and concise for advisors and customers. Follow manufacturers guidelines on warranty following there policies and procedures. Adhere to internal and manufacturers standards in regards to clocking on and off jobs. Cost up all appropriate works found and follow the process for sell up. Make sure all vehicles have appropriate Health Checks carried out. Ensure all training is carried out and team assisted in achieving our customer satisfaction targets . Take responsibility at all times. Responsible for Health and Safety Responsible for Quality controls for all manufacturers Must ensure the highest level of staff and customer satisfaction at all times.

Skills required



Management experience or workshop supervision. Ability to lead a team. Must be approachable and confident. Can do and want to attitude. Superb organisational and prioritising skills. Computer literate.
MUST HAVE MOTOR TRADE EXPERIENCE - APPLICANTS WITHOUT THIS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

This workshop controller role is a 45 hour week with Saturdays as required!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
