Job Description

We are currently looking for a proactive and organised Workshop Assistant to join our growing team at Cura Terrae Water, supporting the day-to-day operation of our stock and assets based at our Sheffield site.

The role

This role supports the company's fleet of environmental monitoring equipment and its associated database.

You'll help with the allocation, issue, and tracking of equipment to support engineers during site deployments, ensuring company goods are recorded and handled efficiently and accurately within our systems.

You'll assist with stock control, including goods-in and goods-out processes, replenishment, stock takes, and audits to help maintain an organised and accountable workshop.

You'll also have the opportunity to support improvements to workshop processes and procedures, contributing to the smooth and safe running of the environment.

About you

You'll have some previous experience in a workshop, stores, or logistics environment, ideally in a support or assistant role. You'll be organised and reliable, able to manage a varied workload and take ownership of tasks to ensure they're completed accurately and on time. You'll be flexible and a good communicator, working closely with the wider team to ensure effective equipment management and continuous improvement. Experience using IT systems for stock control or databases is essential (training will be provided). A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices in a workshop environment would be beneficial.
