Overview


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join our team within the crane division at our head office in Airdrie. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various engineering principles. This role involves working on lorry loader cranes, hook loaders, and other on road load handling equipment.

Responsibilities



Carrying out servicing and repairs on hydraulic lifting equipment. Fault finding on electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Being able to complete paperwork and parts estimates in a timely fashion Be available for overtime when required. Carry out tasks safely and efficiently. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to learn new skills.

Qualifications / experience



Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Good fabrication / welding skills Basic understanding of 24v auto electrical systems. Experience with hydraulic cylinder repairs / re seals Able to carry out hydraulic hose repairs Allmi Lorry loader operators ticket preferable but not essential. (training provided) Allmi thorough examiners ticket preferable but not essential. (training provided ) Candidates from, Plant, HGV, forklift, and powered access backgrounds would be suited to this role.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-40,000.00 per year
