Our Engineers are responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty products that have been returned, ready to be shipped back to our loyal customers.

We are seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our team. This role is based out of our headquarters in Braintree, Essex.

What are my responsibilities?

Assess products requiring inspection in the workshop and assist in diagnosing and repairing any faults found within our products (Mobility scooters, Powerchairs, Wheelchairs, Riser Recliners, etc.) Maintain written and computerised reports regarding work carried out on products Work within a team to process daily throughput Ensure that the workspace is kept today, and tools are accounted for To carry out inspection and repairs on customer premises as and when required To help spot trends with products and faults and report back to management Provide advice and support via phone to customers and colleagues To support our Service Engineers with any outbound repairs that may be required within the South East of England.

What skills are required?

1+ year experience in a previous role of similar description (Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer) Technically minded - previous experience with mobility products is desired but not essential Must be self-motivated, polite, and professional as well as having the ability to work independently and as a team Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent time management skills Excellent communication and social skills
