The Role of workshop engineer
You will be responsible for servicing and repairing a complete range of patient mobility equipment, which will include electrical diagnosis, fault finding and LOLER testing/inspection.
Full extensive product training will be provided along with ongoing support. This is an excellent career opportunity for a skilled engineer to move into the healthcare sector. The role will be planned preventative maintenance and servicing of products, as well as responding to breakdowns. Previous experience on mobility and/or healthcare equipment is preferred, but not essential.
We require someone who can work in the workshop, clearing down priority work that cannot be dealt with in the field .

Basic Salary 25,875
Overtime available.
on call weekly suplemental rate and attendance overtime rate

The Candidate for the Service Engineer
You
MUST
be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
Previous Mobility equipment experience is preferred
Strong personal and communication skills required
Engineers from the Armed Forces are encouraged to apply
Experience in the repair of other electrical or mechanical equipment is essential
You
MUST
have a full driving licence with no DD10 or IN10 disqualifications
You will need to have existing right to work in the UK
