Train to become a Palfinger crane specialist!



This is a rare Workshop role at our site in Coalville offering full manufacturer training, clear progression routes, and the chance to train to become a product specialist for one of the world's leading crane brands.



For the past 35 years Palfinger UK have been proud to represent the internationally renowned range of Palfinger lorry loader and Epsilon construction, recycling and forestry cranes.

As the exclusive UK distributor, we provide the full aftersales support that's expected of a market leader. Due to an internal promotion we're looking to recruit an additional engineer to join our Leicester Workshop team.

You'll be working with a brand known globally for quality, innovation and reliability. Your training will turn into real expertise, and we'll help you move from engineer/mechanic to become a trusted manufacturer specialist who keeps our world-class cranes performing at their best.

This role is ideal for a Hydraulic Engineer, Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, HGV Technician or Mechanic who wants to build on existing hydraulic and mechanical knowledge, develop electrically and progress into a long-term, rewarding career with a company that invests in its people.

Duties:



You'll join a professional and well-equipped workshop environment.

After extensive training you'll be undertaking extensive repairs and service work on our premium range of Palfinger and Epsilon cranes.

Our workshop team work 42 hours per week Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 / Friday 08:00-16:30.

Requirements:



Demonstrable experience servicing and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems on heavy machinery - whether from plant, HGV, agricultural, access, hydraulic hose, tail-lift, or similar hydraulic backgrounds. Willingness to learn and develop into a manufacturer-trained specialist Service Technician. A positive attitude, good problem-solving approach, and pride in delivering quality work. This is a workshop/ site-based role, so you must be willing to travel to our Leicester Workshop LE67 1TU daily.
