As our workload grows, we're looking to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic Workshop Engineer to our team in Sittingbourne, Kent.

The Role:

Based at our well-equipped workshop, this hands-on role involves mechanical overhauls, upgrades and repairs to a wide range of plant and rail equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Strip-down, inspection, and refurbishment of plant machinery and attachments Rebuilding hydraulic systems and fitting new components Upgrading equipment with new parts and modifications Testing and quality checking all works completed Occasional basic electrical, fabrication, or welding tasks Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We're Looking For:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering -- or time-served experience in a similar role Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with hydraulics Previous experience working on plant, rail, agricultural, or HGV machinery Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results A positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
