The Opportunity




Are you ready to take your maintenance skills to the next level? We're looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our team, focusing on the upkeep and repair of light vehicles, HGVs, and light plant equipment. Based at our world-class Glensanda site, you'll be working in a unique environment, ensuring that our fleet and equipment stay safe, reliable, and performing at their best.



What you'll be doing



Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on light vehicles(Hilux/ land rovers), HGVs, and light plant equipment. Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and implementing repairs quickly to minimise downtime. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work using our digital systems. Supporting inspections and ensuring all vehicles and equipment meet compliance, safety, and performance standards. Working closely with the wider operations team to schedule maintenance around production priorities. Helping set the standard on site for safety, housekeeping, and efficiency. Training and supporting colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

What we're looking for



A motivated, hands-on individual with mechanical experience - ideally in light vehicle or HGV maintenance. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance or relevant qualification. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Good organisational abilities and an eye for detail. Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A flexible and proactive approach with a "can-do" mindset. Welding, fabrication, or electrical skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
