About us

We design and manufacture a modular van conversion system called CRUX along with a range of self-build products for the VW Crafter / Mercedes Sprinter / MAN TGE van platforms.

?Designed for the adventure and active lifestyle leisure industries, we operate from our workshop in Hampshire, UK.

We are seeking an experienced Workshop & Fulfilment Operative to join vanconcept.

In this varied role you will take responsibility for building and packaging campervan products for our self-build and trade customers.

Responsibilities

To fulfil our customer orders, ensuring we are surpassing their expectations in quality and despatch time.

To build up and assemble products such as cab headliner shelves, blind / window surrounds, bulkhead surrounds etc.

Become competant in carpet lining shelves and other products (training would be provided)

Package up customer orders to be sent each day with couriers

Work with our CNC Machine Operator to ensure that all wooden parts needed to complete customer orders are cut and ready to assemble

Assist in assembling our range of products to fit out vans.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the build process of our kits.

Maintain a clean and organized workshop, always being mindful that our customers often visit our workshop and we need to give them the best impression

Take responsibility for inventory of products, components and packaging.

Assist in other areas of the business when required and the opportunity arises, such as being involved with some tasks in the conversion of vans

Skills

Strong practical skills, using basic assembly tools.

Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Keen to learn new skills to aid the workshop.
