Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Workshop person to help boost our stock and assist with fulfilling orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for packing products, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring orders are accurate and properly packaged. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high-quality packaging standards.

We are an exhibition company, and your role will also involve preparing graphics and other materials that pass through our workshop, as well as preparing stock items.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pack products according to company standards and customer requirements. Ensure items are correctly labelled and barcoded for shipping. Inspect products for quality before packing to identify any defects or damage. Use packaging materials appropriately to protect items during transit. Weigh, label, and seal packages securely for dispatch. Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Assist with loading packages onto delivery trucks when needed. Maintain a fast-paced workflow to meet daily shipping deadlines. Follow safety and handling procedures in compliance with company policies. Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and replenishing supplies when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience in a workshop, packaging, or shipping role is an advantage but not required.

Attention to Detail:

Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift, move, and pack boxes weighing up to 20kg Max.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Time Management:

Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills:

Good verbal communication for team coordination.
